Titled Samples of an Introduction because the album consists of all sample driven beats. It's my way of paying homage to how Hip Hop began. Basically the way Hip Hop started all the way down to the Dj's. Just like Dj Kool Herc who kept the breaks going to keep the instrumental part playing so MC's can "toast" to it. That evolved into the producers using hardware like MPC's to sample records and the MC's rapping 16 bar verses. It eventually evolved into what we see today, various styles, genres, and instruments being fused together into Hip Hop. Since this is my first project that's where I wanted to keep it, can't forget where this classic music came from.

Since this is also my introduction as it's my first full project I'm releasing, each track is also a sample of what I can provide as an artist, hence the name, Samples of an Introduction.
